I started my career as a photographer when I knew I needed an escape from the humdrum of every day life and to take control of my routine and the way I chose to work. It may sound like a false cliche, but I have truly loved photography from a very young age. I remember first gaining an emotional connection to photography when I was around 13, but all of my childhood photos don't feature myself based on the simple fact that it was always me behind the family camera.

I am inspired by the world around me, I try my best to strip as much back as possible and focus on the details, with the aim of capturing the world through rose tinted glasses.

Outside of photography, you can find me amongst my home jungle of plants, with a cup of tea, a copy of cereal magazine or the latest commentary on minimalism I have come across, my bearded dragon Fuji snuggled on my chest whilst I cosy up for cuddles from my amazing husband.

As soon as I saw you, I knew a grand adventure was about to happen.
— A.A Milne

We met in the summer of 2009 and we were best friends from the moment we started talking. We used to keep in contact over Skype chat, talking every day about music, swapping Spotify playlists and mocking each other mercilessly. Though 45 miles apart we didn't let that stop us being friends. It was only when we got a little older that our paths became a little more entwined and a trip to Paris kickstarted our adventure as a couple. We got engaged after 18 months and married a year later at our dream wedding complete with live music by our closest friends, Chinese lanterns and an acapella rendition of Radiohead's Creep by all our remaining guests due to a failed sound system. It was perfect, it was the reason I fell in love with weddings and it was just the start. To this day, we still talk about music every single day, mock each other mercilessly and even swap the occasional Spotify playlist but now we are totally in love and living in the same house while we do so.
